Yes we have paid for priority and express delivery there and back. So after today it will be sent off and then it's just a waiting game. So pleased you got the right outcome and you'll be there by the time you wanted.

Thank you Zoep1981.I have everything crossed for you as well.I'm just a bit frustrated because I don't see anyone else on here that's non-priority recently so I don't really have anyone's timeline to go by.They received our application 3 weeks ago on Friday.

I received an email today that said:
"Dear Ms Thieroff,
A decision has been made on your UK visa application, but we have been unable to locate your international courier account number with the documents that you submitted.
Unfortunately, we are unable to despatch your documents back to you unless an international courier customer account number is supplied.
Please note that we are no longer able to accept FedEx as one of our International couriers.  This is reflected on our website:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/usa-apply-for-a-uk-visa/apply-for-a-uk-visa-in-the-usa [nofollow]
We can inform you that a courier account can be created free of charge online, or in most cases over the phone and is used as a payment method instead of using a credit card number (which we cannot use by itself unfortunately).  If the international courier account number can be provided, there should be no further issues in despatching your documents once the application is completed.
We would therefore be grateful if you send us your account number as soon as possible quoting our above reference in the reply.
Please send your response to the following e-mail address:
VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Please note that your passport must be returned to you in the USA.
Yours sincerely
Sheffield Visa Section, UK."

So I replied an hour later with my UPS account number and got an automated email back from them. I was Wondering if anyone has received this email? Since it was been one week on priority since they received my application, I am hoping that they mail out my decision asap. Do you think they would send me another decision made email with a tracking number or something? Hopefully this doesn't slow down the process of getting my visa decision back. Any advice would be great.

Yes, a few people have received this email - in the case that they either used FedEx after October 1st or they didn't include their shipping account details.

They should mail your passport and documents as soon as they have your account details for return shipping, which you have now sent them. I would imagine they will send another email with your tracking number.

Assuming they ship your documents today or tomorrow, I would expect to receive them by early next week.

Hello all!  I received my passport and new residence card back today with all the supporting documents! It actually arrived yesterday, but the pesky postman who never knocks the door slid a calling card through, so had to go pick it up.  So from start to finish of my second EEA2 application process, it took about 11 weeks. Good luck to anyone who is still waiting on visas and other documents!

Oh man, thank you for posting this!  We are FINALLY ready to go with an EEA2 application and I want to get it in sometime in December.  I was hoping it wouldn't take longer than 3 months, so maybe if we get it in before the half term and summer rushes we can get through by March so we can go to Sweden for Easter (and for once not get grilled by Nordic immigration.  I thought the Finns were going to kick me out when we transited through Helsinki last month because I didn't understand the IOs timing question about arrival/departure etc)

Congrats!

Good luck with your application! My case was fairly straightforward in that I'd been issued a residence card 5 years ago upon my first application and then had a French carte de séjour based on my civil partnership, so the case was pretty strong for issuing me another one.  Just be sure to include as much relevant documentation as possible and it should go fine.  Also, I don't know if it helped at all, but I included a detailed cover letter outlining my rights of residence and stating all the documentation that was contained within.  I also tried to answer any potential questions that might have cropped up about our year abroad in France, so if you've any twists in your situation, I'd recommend heading them off before the caseworker has to dig a bit further.  Feel free to shoot me any queries you might have!
