I know the feeling! Lol honestly though, I'm not so much worried about getting refused because we meet all the criteria, it's just that my anxiety is coming from the fact that I want it back in time to book my flight before prices sky rocket in mid- May lol and I don't want to book it just yet because who knows exactly when I'll have it in hand, or on the highly off chance I get refused...

And I will definitely let you know what happens(:

I agree with that .... And I just want to go home ... 6 months away from hubby every 6 months for the last 3 years isn't easy ... Also, doesn't help matters that he was knocked off his scooter yesterday by a hit & run driver ... Messed up knees, bruised ribs & two loose front teeth... I really have to get home before anymore of him changes ...

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Hope he heals up quickly!

And I agree, I can't stand being away from my fiancé any longer, I think this is the longest amount of time we've been apart since we first met... I came back from my last trip in January, didn't think id be here this long and it's excruciating! Add on all the wedding planning that needs to be done for our wedding in September... And it's not like he can come visit me either because we just can't afford it with all the other expenses we have with the move and all, and he needs to save all his vacation days for when I get back, the wedding, picking up my family from the airport and train station, and our  honeymoon... Lol

Thanks ... Of course we just found out the plates on the car that hit him were stolen ...

I've been back here since the end of January, so ready to get back there ....
Sounds like there's a big wedding in the works .... I wish you all the happiness together ...

BUT .... Just talked to UPS (again) and .... There's movement on my package !!!!! There is an arrival scan for it in Tamworth GB ... Looks like it's taking the scenic route because there's a scheduled delivery date if 04/28 ... But hey it's something ...

Oh man!!! Some people just suck! So upsetting that people think it's okay to do things like that... As long as he will be okay, that's the important thing though (:

And thank you also!(: though, it's not a big wedding really, about 50 guests which is just close friends and family (most of which will be his obviously lol) but I cannot wait for my wedding! I'm already dreading having to stuff my gown in a tiny carry on suitcase! Lol

And yay! I'm excited for you to get your visa! Makes me excited (and anxious) about finding out when I get mine back! Lol

Keep it in its garment bag on the hanger and the flight attendants will hang it up for you.  There are coat closets on the plane for business/first and they will take your dress and hang it up for you.

What's the probability of that happening? I've just heard bad stories online of women trying to do that only to be told no, or that there wasn't any room for it, or the flight attendants just stuffing it in there!! Lol I'm so worried about that happening, or being told I can't do that and have to check it :( I was considering having it professionally packed at the bridal store and leaving it there on my short flight to Houston then asking the flight attendant if it could be hung only on the long haul flight from Houston to London... That way I know it's taken care of for the most part if it needs to be stuck in my suitcase the entire way

Also, yes I will definitely be leaving it in the dress bag lol I'm too paranoid that it will get stained or something in a freak accident!

Mrs. Roberts, I think all airlines leave that up to the discretion of the flight attendants, plus I believe the closets are mainly reserved for the first class passengers and it's only if there is room? I'm not too sure, it's just what I've found online from different wedding forums...

FutureMrsHandy you make me want to get married again :)

Thank you .... He will be ok ... Irked about not finding the person who was responsible ... But I know as soon as he can he will repair his "baby" ... The "other love of his life" ...

and I want too get married again too ... This was a 2nd marriage for both of us , so we just did a quickie at the registry office with his family there ... My 1st was a quickie in Las Vegas with just my family ... Never had a big wedding, would love it, but it's just not in the cards for me...

Which airline do you fly with ? I usually do the nonstop with Virgin and the flight attendants are wonderful ...

I think we may have another wedding in a few years to renew our vows here in the states with my side of the family(:

And I always fly with United, I get the best prices with them, also, the airport nearest me here in Texas is small and only flys American, united, and allegiant... It only has 5 gates! Lol so all my flights go to Houston where I get the long haul flight to Heathrow... I've always wanted to fly with Virgin! I heard it amazing! Lol maybe one day!

I like virgin ... I like even better non stop is only a 9 hour flight ... And since I go back & forth so often, might as well stick with one airline to try to build up some FF miles ... Only downfall - from Vegas only flies into Gatwick ... I am NOT a fan of the IO's at Gatwick...

But I think since this whole visa ordeal was so pricey, my next flight will be looked for on a flight app hubby has... We saw one the other day, flying out next week - one way from Vegas with a fairly decent layover in New York into Heathrow for $575.00 ... Compared to the other prices we have seen, that's not bad at all ... And if I remember correctly it was on British  airways, which I have heard is too notch ...

Yes! I highly recommend Virgin or British Airway for better treatment! I was shocked when I flew American how rude they are.

NMF it's my second marriage too, his first and we were married here in the US nearly 4 years ago! His mum wants to have something for us in the UK so I'm thinking we will next year for our 5 year anniversary.

Well it's getting HOT here in Texas, my hubby is going thru heat problems already! His body just refuses to acclimate. I'm hoping per the email we hear something soon!
