Any updates from recent applicants?

Still no news on my end...
Was really hoping to have something this morning!

I emailed the UKVI contact two days ago and it said there was no current status on my visa application. (This made freak out because I received the acknowledgement email on June 9th).

The person sent me information to escalate my application. What does that even mean? That they are just going to look further into it to see what its current status is?

It makes me nervous that it has not even been touched yet since the beginning of June.  I am non-priority, so I know they're taking longer, but now I'm getting quite worried. 

That would make me nervous too...hope they get you sorted out! I'm giving up the search if I hear nothing by 5:00pm UK time.

Will shift ticket...(yay for flexible tickets and BA Gold card status!) to the end of the week. Was really wanting some closure...oh well.

We submitted our category D spouse visa application on July 27th, had the biometrics on August 3rd and mailed everything off the same day. It was delivered on Wednesday morning UK time, but now I'm so anxious!!

It took us about a week to get confirmation! I bet you'll get something Monday or Tuesday.

I recently completed a priority visa and it took two days from arrival in Sheffield for them to acknowledge the receiving the application.  My time line was as follows:
7/20 Shipped priority visa via two day UPS
7/22 Arrived in Sheffield
7/24 Email acknowledging receival
7/28 Decision made email
7/30 Visa received

Awesome! You guys are giving me hope that this will go quickly. Husband and I are applying the last week of this month. Priority as well. Keeping my fingers crossed its just as fast!! Big congrats!!

That is such an ideal timeline...2 weeks and done. Wish we had done priority from the start! I sent in the requested documents from the IO yesterday so they had them today...hope to have a decision soon!!

Yeah we both feel super lucky with how quickly it went.  Priority is worth it's weight in gold.  Unfortunately they are making us wait till August 29th to travel.  Ood luck to all of you that are still waiting

gemology, can I ask what you put down for your travel date? We are in the process of getting hubby's passport and then the kids passports and then my visa and am trying to coordinate travel for all five of us to coincide around the first of March 2016. I would hate to put my travel date of March 1 down and not receive the visa before then and be left in the states waiting :/ I've read that some processors don't really look at your travel date and issue the visa according to the date they approve it then giving you around 28 days (after shipping it back to you) for you to get out of the country.....or am I just crazy? 

Hi all, I did pick up my secondary passport today. I noticed is has an entirely different passport number than my other one. Still does make me wonder...if the numbers are indeed different...how would they link the two...

With them finally linking my visa application with my retroactive priority upgrade, we're hoping to have a decision early next week with the visa in my hands by the cob on Friday next week at the latest with an intended departure for everyone on Monday.

So ready to have this chapter over and done with. People who want amnesty for illegal immigration get none of my tolerance!
