Any updates from recent applicants?

I got it! I got it! I have a lovely beautiful priceless shiny sticker in my passport with the proper stamps and all. The sweetly left my passport open to the page where they placed the stamp so I would not have to look for it. Whomever was mt ECO.....I love him or her.

I still have fingers and toes crossed for the others waiting for deliveries today. I do wish I wouldn't wake up each and every morning hoping for an email though....

Finally sent it!  I remember thinking that when I did the paperwork for my husband's visa coming to the US how hard I thought that was. Now I realize that was NOTHING. I cannot believe how stressful this whole process has been (and continues to be!) I'm so nervous, but it's nice to be amongst people who understand. Best of luck to everyone!

• Biometrics Appointment: 25 August
• Application Sent via FedEx Priority: 27 August
• Application Delivered to UKVI in Sheffield: 29 August

Well, I have taken the plunge and sent my application in. I haven't gotten an email from the UKVI saying that my application was received, and that compounds my anxiety, but I know this is not unusual. Im so excited and can't wait to join my fiance in the UK!! Fingers crossed and best wishes for all those in the same boat!

My visa application arrived in Sheffield on the same day as yours and I have not received an e-mail, either.  At least I know it is there because someone signed for it!  Good luck to you.

Thanks, and those were my thoughts exactly. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

My application was signed for on the 27th and I haven't received an email either! I even checked my application to make sure I sent the right address. Paranoid much? In any event I'm glad it's not just me!

I'm so sorry you're still waiting!  It's such a difficult time when, even knowing there is no reason for any issues, you're essentially waiting on an unknown person/people to find out when you can resume your life's plans. 

I don't understand how this works at all.  It's as if there are two (or more) very different tracks these priority settlement visa applications from the US can take.  Some are there and done in 3 weeks, and others are taking over twice as long!  Doesn't matter if I understand it or not, because it will take what it takes - despite the feeling of going slowly around the bend.....   

Rant over for now.... and I've not really been waiting all that long at all!  *sigh*  It still felt good to rant a bit. 

Received "Decision Made" email today!  Everything is crossed!
