Any updates from recent applicants?

Just had a response from our emails that our application is "Awaiting ECO Assessment." 

Does that mean it hasnt even been looked at since July 29th?

I've been stalking this post for the past week and a half, so figured I would post and wish everyone luck! I am coming up to three weeks on Friday waiting for that nerve-wracking "decision has been made" email. Last week, people were posting three weeks as their waiting period, so I'm really hoping to see something soon!

We were delayed in applying due to a mix-up with the biometrics, so I had already hoped to be back in England by this point. My husband has had to go back without me, and it is even harder doing the long-distance thing now that we don't know when it will end! I have a violent love/hate relationship with the Skype ringtone at the moment

I would ask them to confirm that you are priority processing.  Sounds like you might be in the non-priority pile...

KFDancer, I was wondering the very same thing.  It doesn't make any sense a priority application should be taking that long, at least from what I've seen lately. 

Having had the email yesterday that our processing hadnt yet started after nearly 6 weeks, we received the decision email this morning!!!!   

I also asked my MP yesterday to ask about it, so im not sure if they realised they had forgotten to process a priority application or if the MPs query helped.

They also gave a new Fedex tracking number.

So now the wait for delivery!!!

But the tracking number hasn't shown up in the system yet, so now I'll be obsessively refreshing THAT page instead of my email!

I wouldn't worry about the tracking not being found. I had this problem yesterday when I received my tracking number. According to FedEx the tracking numbers can be written manually, which implies that it will only enter the FedEx system once it has been picked up by FedEx - for me this occurred yesterday afternoon (we were also provided with a new tracking number).

JEMGE, that data is awesome! I know seeing the numbers laid out like that would have really helped me when I was biting my nails to hear back, so I'm sure others will appreciate the timelines!

I think that in reviewing the timeline based on the enquiry from the mp, they realized they had a priority application that was sitting without being handled.  The mail we got yesterday supports that theory too, but then who knows!  They actually told the mp at first that they couldn't find it.
Which was when we produced the acknowledgment mail.

To cap it all, bizarrely, although they sent the decision email before 8 am U k today they managed to miss today's cutoff for FedEx, only getting collected around 4:30pm  Which means we now need to wait another 4 days until Monday to get the package.  And all for a bargain price for " overnight" delivery.

Really takes the biscuit !!!!

Ours got activated late this  afternoon, but was some 8 hours after the mail was sent and therefore too Late for the paid for overnight delivery. So now won't arrive until Monday.

One question though: did you separate out the priority from the non-priority applications?

The average processing times will be different depending on whether you paid for priority or not. Lately, it's been taking 2-3 months on average for non-priority applications and 2-3 weeks for priority.
