We know Chrissie, Sam or Zoe (number 1 suspect) is going to kill Den? Another death's going to occur this week (don't read further if you don't want to know).
Johnny supposedly plans to cheat Andy out of money (that is, not give him as big of a cut as Andy thinks he should) on a shady business deal. Thus far, we've seen Andy confront Johnny, who cut him down to size in the Vic. Then Andy decided to take his anger out on Alfie, telling him he wants 20 percent of Alfie's weekly takings from the stall, as "insurance" that nothing bad will happen to the stall. Alfie has refused, telling Andy he doesn't scare him. BUT (and this is where you absolutely should stop reading, if you don't want to know):
Johnny catches wind of Andy's attempt to blackmail Alfie, and learns that Andy's planning on doing a runner with the money from the business deal. He asks Andy to meet him at a lay-by (I'm assuming a lay-by is what we call a rest stop in the States?) to talk business. Andy realizes too late that it's a setup, and Johnny, before blowing him away, says the cliche line: "It's nothing personal. It's just business," or something along that line. End of two bad guys in short order.
Our news agent, for some reason, delivered a magazine titled
TV Mag (I haven't seen or heard of it before) with our newspaper the other day. It's cheesy, to say the least, but it has a TV schedule in it (we didn't get the weekend inserts in the
Times the other day, so maybe he threw in the magazine to make up for it). The front cover says it's "FREE WITH THE SUN," so you know it's a quality publication.
Anyway, the main picture on the cover is Den, with Andy as an inset, beneath which is the enlightening news: "Den is Killed! Andy's bumped off too"). Not a mag I'll be running out to pick up any time soon, but it's serving its purpose.
(You know you have to do something about your bedbound status when you can give a detailed synopsis of a soap opera. Heavy sigh.)
