But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Can the storyline about Ian/Jane/Dawn get any more ridiculous?

i know.
while jane was manically driving that golf cart thing, i was thinking 'i'll bet the writers think we're laughing just now'.

i HATE when EE tries to do 'comedy'.
it fails dismally everytime.

The whole golf cart scene was absurd.  Hopefully, the writers of EE will move on.

well sometimes it can work, like with Alfie, and Terry & Irene were always funny but Ian & Jane etc are just not good comedy actors.

So, Bradley telling Janine to abort the baby ... i always knew his bad side would come out eventually!!!

Oh yeah I meant Stacey! I can never remember anyone's name in TV land and she looks like Janine Butcher.

Stacey's brother is SOOOOOO hot!  Mmmmm.  Just my type of bloke back in my wild days . . .  ;D  He's got that naughty twinkle in his eye and that sly smile.

I'd tell Bradley to get stuffed and chuck a condom at him as I walked out the door.

Has anyone else noticed they've been playing the Smiths a lot in the pub & the cafe?  Monday night's episode they had a shot of Billy in the caf looking really fed up and in the background, quite loudly was the Smiths - Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now.

i just watched Monday's ep this afternoon, and i noticed it!
What a load of crap on that tube train, btw... one minute you're threatening a guy who is acting very sus and frightening you, the next minute you're shaking hands, introducing yourself and having a nice wee heart to heart about recent traumas in your life.

I haven't watched this in a while. I did see the show just after Honey had the baby and Billy and her were freaking out. It was really hard to watch but a friend who works in social services was saying that the storyline was actually very close to what real life couples go through. Very sad.
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.

There is a story on the BBC website about how some midwives have complained about the storyline because they feel it shows parents in this situation not getting enough support, and also because it showed Honey being refused an epidural (or epidoodle as she called it!).

I found myself watching the episodes with Billy and Honey finding out about the baby having Down Syndrome and finding myself being so angry at the 2 of them for thinking the baby would never be able to do anything...My mom works for Devereux Foundation in the states that helps the Mentally Disabled and Special needs...it is a great place and somewhere I have been around my whole life..helping with different events there and getting to know the people that live there..and some of the people that I have met with Downs Syndrome have been some of the sweetest, happiest people that I have met...so when Billy and Honey didn't want to have anything to do with the baby I didn't understand...but in talking to my mother about it she said it is a normal reaction from someone who has never been around or known a mentally disabled person...I am very interested in the storyline to see how it turns out...and it has opened up some really good discussions...so I am proud of them for doing a storyline like this
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is to love
and to be loved in return"

It's really been bugging me .. the guy who plays Aubrey is so familiar but I just could not work out where I knew his face from ... finally took note of the actor's name in the credits & googled him ... he was the butler in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air!
