Phil Daniels ( Kevin Wicks ) is leaving the show..

Bummer, I liked him until he hooked up with Denise.. :P

And...they are thinking of bringing Michael Caine to the show as a long lost lover of Peggy's.. ::)

I don't watch it every time it's on, as I used to. The storylines and characters (the best of which have left) are just too lame. I watch it here and there, and it's not that hard to figure out what happened on the shows I missed. I used to watch it regularly.

Oh that is a shame, all the good people seem to leave!  I am enjoying the Micthell girls though, what a hoot.

My money is on Jay's dad as Patrick's attacker.

I'm betting on Ian's daughter's ex-boyfriend. After all, he does carry a gun in his car, and Ian's daughter got busted the day she tried to shoplift some vodka, the same day Patrick was attacked. I think Sean is innocent.

What really drives me mad about EastEnders is when Peggy (or one of them) proclaim they're "Mitchells, and nobody messes with us." My husband will ask me to change the channel if he hears that, which I'll happily do because the Mitchells are nothing but pub owners who can't seem to stick around, and they're certainly not "bad asses."

I haven't watched it in a while, because it's gotten so depressing and shouty it wasn't good to have round w/the bairns up.

Today, it was coming on for 7.30 and I heard Aillidh say, 'Change the station, that's too shouty.'  :o

Once those two Mitchell girls showed up that was it.  Also Stacey gets on t*ts.

I absolutely couldn't stand that story line with Pat and that rocking horse delivery guy. The dialogue between them was just brutal. I had to leave the room when it came on.

I was bummed when Dennis got murdered. I wasn't sorry to see Sharon go (her eyelash-batting drove me crazy), but Dennis was cool.

I wish Patrick & Yolande would fck off back to Trinidad.  They are such dire characters, and the actors playing them arent much better.
Everytime Patrick takes off his hat to pull some damp, sweat-soaked money out of it, i want to boak.

I notice they haven't come up with a storyline to explain Jim's absence yet.
