Hey everyone. I moved here 4 years ago from Houston. I'm actually Canadian but spent 16 years in TX so its my home away from home. I was a horse trainer back home.... and moved to Canary Wharf. That was a culture shock! I have since bought a new place in Hobbs Cross, Essex with my husband, our baby, Jake and our dogs... and my horse. I will admit, I have a nice life but i dont love it here. Im very lonely out here in the countryside and feel even more isolated because Im living in a small retirement hamlet to which everyone is 40 years my senior. Anyhoo, I have been wanting to make new American friends as Im just really homesick. I miss Pottery Barn, Cheesecake Factory and For the love of baby Jesus, i miss Target!
