How would you pack make up?

Hi everyone

less then 4wks till my visit to the UK...yay! lol Only now I'm stuck deciding what make up palettes to bring. I've gotten advanced in my make up skills and my fiance' has a total of 8 drs appointments in the 2wks I'll be visiting so I was planning on using my free time to hone my skills. I wanna bring all the Naked palettes and the book of shadows which is a chunkier one....Think putting them in a padded make up bag and rolling them in Yoga pants in my carry on would be okay? I worry about my babies...lol

What I did was roll them up with a scarf, like put one palette down at one end of the scarf, role once or twice, then another palette and so on... Or put one pallet at each end and roll to meet in the middle
Then just stick it in the middle of the suitcase cushioned between all your other clothes(: never had any break or anything in all my times flying(: I also always keep my eyeshadow palettes in my CarryOn bag and not in checked luggage to make sure I baby it! My palettes are like my babies, so I know how you feel! Lol

Also, jeans work just as well(: I just try to avoid using them because if one were to break, it would get all over them... I'm not so worried about if it happened to a scarf lol
