I am nipping our trick or treat disappointment in the bud. Firstly, Next year, and I am saving ym money now... we are all going to the US for the Holiday. That, and to get awy from the constant mortar shell sounds here.
This year, We went out Trick or treating in reverse.
We had a cauldron full of candy, and were giving people candy on our walk. I can't tell you, how many people tried to give us money.
I explained to them, that no, we don't want money, we are just performing a random act of kindness.
People were genuinely shocked and surprised, but since we only had two kids last year, I decided to go out to the masses, as our street has a lot of little shops on it, that are busy on Saturdays. It was a lot of fun
