We've been here since last August and while we like living here, we've had a hard time meeting people. We homeschool our 8 year old daughter and we would like to meet other families who also homeschool. She misses having friends and it breaks my heart. We've joined a couple of homeschool groups but the they mostly unschool here and it's been difficult to find families we click with.
