I  am trying to decide how many pages to get added to my husband's passport before we officially move to the UK 24 or 48.

He only has three pages left blank. We have our visas that will get validated on our next trip to UK.  His job will entail traveling to 9 European countries on average 3-6 times a month.

My question is will he get stamps each time he leaves and returns to the UK and each time he enters and leaves a different European country?

Thanks for your replies in advance  :)

He'll get a stamp entering the UK and entering and leaving European countries. So if he were to fly to France, for example, and returned to the UK it would be three stamps.

Definitely go for the 24 pages.  I didn't travel as frequently as your husband to Europe but I ended up having to send off my last US Passport to have extra pages added.

If you're renewing a US passport, the extra pages are free. You just need to request them and fill out the form.  :D If you're not renewing, you'll need to pay for them.

A few years back, I renewed my passport and tried to pay for the extra pages but they rung me up and asked for a new check that didn't include the extra pages fee. Woohoo!
