Hello everyone!

Just wanted to say a quick hello during my lunch hour!

I have not lurked at all - just found this site and registered now, and am looking forward to getting to know all of you!

I've been in the UK for 7 years (wow how time flies!) and it's great to be here!  I live in Bedfordshire and work in Milton Keynes.

Will post some more soon, when I get a chance!

I've been in the UK very nearly 3 years now myself and am currently living with my husband in North-east Hampshire (on border with Berkshire and Surrey!). Glad to have you on the site and looking forward to hearing more from you when you have then chance!

Hi, YR. Welcome! I live in Bucks, but at the other end from Milton Keynes. Where in Bedforshire do you live? My husband's brother and his fam. live in Wooton and we visit there pretty regularly.

Hi again, and thanks for the warm welcome!  Sorry it's taken so long for me to come back and post!

Anne, to answer your question - I live in Bedford.  Haven't been to Wooton (at least knowingly!) but I don't think it's too far away.  Let me know if you'd like to meet up sometime!

I guess I should tell a bit more about myself:  I'm originally from Michigan...I came over here already married to a Brit - unfortunately that didn't last!  The good news is...I am now engaged to a fantastic man and although we haven't yet set a date, I'm very, very happy and excited about staying here indefinitely (although I probably would have stayed anyway - this just makes it even better!)...

Will try to post more later.
