May_flowers and Sjb - have you received acknowledgement letters yet?  I haven't. :(

Well, she was an American girl, raised on promises.
She couldn't help thinking that there was a little more to life, somewhere else.
After all it was a great big world, with lots of places to run to.
And if she had to die trying she had one little promise she was gonna keep.

I got all excited when I saw a new post, but alas, nothing. Am off to the Highlands for two weeks from Sunday, so I think any chance of me being able to join in the referendum are now gone too :(

I know this is impossible but try not to agonise over it too much! We mailed ours in December and christmas/new years meant it took over 3 weeks for the receipt email. We did it by post too and it does take a bit longer but it was only 2 months from the receipt date to approval. It is so much faster than it was for me in USA! It will be here soon, easter has probably just slowed them down a bit. :)

I wouldn't think it's too much longer for you to hear back. It will happen. :)

Thanks you two.  Yeah, I know. I was caught up in that major backlog in 2012. My FLR took 10 1/2 months!!  So yeah, I'm used to waiting. I will try to be patient. :D
