Went to my biometrics appointment on Monday - it was quick and simple!

Had a bit of trouble with FedEx yesterday, but got it sorted out this morning and sent my application package first thing!!

It feels so strange to finally have it out of my hands after stressing over it for weeks and weeks!

Of course, hours after sending it off I was reviewing things in my head, and I think there may be a small discrepancy between my Appendix 2 form and the supporting letter from the hubs' parents. Their letter states that there are 3 adults currently living in their house (as one of the hubs' brothers is apparently living with his girlfriend now). When I filled out the section on accommodation in Appendix 2, I had included him in the household, making 4 adults. Either way the house will not be overcrowded as there are 5 bedrooms, plus 3 other rooms. Does anyone think this small difference in the letter vs the form will be a problem? :-\\\\

Woot!  I know the feeling.  I don't know quite what to do now that I can't fiddle with this application anymore.

I had issues with FedEx,too!  I ended up sitting on their computers for over an hour and a half on Saturday afternoon.  Fortunately (for me), the pick-up van got a flat and picked out out-going packages at 5:30 rather than at 3 so off went my package that day.

Good luck!

Oh dear. Right. I am freaking out a little. I was just reading chrissyfish's thread from earlier today while just browsing around... realized that I made a mistake on my application. On the Family Details section I filled out the Father and Mother sections with my husband's father and mother details!! Since it comes right after the Spouse/Partner details, I didn't even think twice about it!

And this is coupled with the other small discrepancy with the number of people in the house as I mentioned above.

Sh*t. Double Sh*t.

I feel sick to my stomach now. :-[

Any words of wisdom out there?

I don't have any words of wisdom, someone more knowledgeable than me will come along soon I'm sure, but I do empathize.  This process is absolutely panic inducing and that's even when you don't know about any errors.  I have a hard time believing an honest mistake like this will cause your application to be rejected.  It seems more likely, to me, that they'll just email you with a request for more information about your own parents.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll hear something soon that will make your stomach settle down.

Oh dear!  I feel for you.  I would imagine that it won't be a deal-breaker.  Hopefully you included enough documents to show that you are eligible for the visa and they will contact you if they want to know about your parents.   :-\\\\  Good luck!

I honestly don't think this is an issue in the least.  Your parents/his parents have no impact on the visa (if they catch the error they may request the corrected information.

They may ask you to clarify the number of people in the house, but as you said it's not overcrowded, even with the error.

We have had people make really big errors (not completing Appendix 2, not sending bank statements or payslips) and UKVI has contacted them for the missing info and they've been approved.   :D

Thanks for the support, everyone. It's so wonderful to have a community of people who are going through/have gone through the same stressful situation. I feel a bit better about it today. In the grand scheme of things, these are small mistakes... all the most important supporting documents and information is there. Besides, it is in their hands now. There's not much I can do unless they contact me! Just have to wait it out!
