Hi guys, I'm Kate.

I met my American partner in Turkey in September 2013, continued a flirtation with him through snapchat and gtalk until February 2014 when I visited him in the States, asked him to be my boyfriend as soon as I returned home, and dated long distance until August 2014, when he moved in with me on a student visa. 

Yesterday, on the most cliché day of the year I proposed to him. We're trying not to think weddings yet and just enjoy ourselves, but I haven't been able to help looking up all our immigration issues basically since I first met him, and I stumbled across this board in part of my incessant immigration learning! I thought it would be a good place to hang out generally and I might learn a lot from being here!
