How hard is it for an American to come to the UK for work?

Hi everyone, I have a Bachelor's with experience as a copywriter and I'm currently an administrator. I have an interesting in publishing and entertainment industries. I'd love to work in London, but I understand the only way I can do it is to have a company sponsor me before I arrive in the country?

Any tips on what my chances are on finding work in these fields? And if there are any insider tips to making it happen?

It's pretty difficult. Basically the company needs to show that no one in the EU could do the role that they would be sponsoring you for. There aren't really any tips other than try to get a job with a company that has a UK office and see if it's possible to transfer at some point.
