How do I get my entry refusal documents?
« on: July 17, 2015, 05:25:07 PM »
Hi,

I was refused entry into the UK on 16 April of this year.

In my distraught state and desire to put the incident behind me, I accidentally left the documentation/letter behind.

I have the letter that says which flight they were to put me on, but at this time I cannot find it.

Who do I contact to get this information, as I am applying for a student visa?

Cheers!  :)

I'm not sure you can get a copy.  You could send an inquiry to UKVI but it will likely take quite some time to get.

When you apply, they will pull your immigration records and see all the notes in the system.  Your application will take a bit longer to process while they look into it.

So basically, I can go ahead and apply and they will see my records anyway? Should I include a cover letter explaining the situation?
