Bank Statement Query for Spouse Visa Application
« on: July 22, 2015, 02:50:28 PM »
Good day,

I have 2 Current accounts and I transfer money in and out of them monthly when I get paid. The statements from the account I am submitting is obviously showing these payments. Do I need to add a note about this explaining this occurrence? Thanks.

Nope.  Just have the statements for the accounts that tie to your payslips.  They only care about money going in, not worried about what's going out.

Okay so what about the transfers I make coming into the account I will be submitting? Also I got a bank loan last month that is showing on my statement, do I need to explain this?

It doesn't matter. The only thing you need to show is that the X amount on your payslip is deposited as X amount on your bank statement each month. That's all that UKVI need to see.

The only thing that you would need to explain is if you got a sudden large deposit into or made a large transfer out of your account (i.e. thousands of pounds in one go), because it could look like something dodgy is going on... so, you might want to explain the bank loan (i.e. what it's for), but you wouldn't need to explain the other transfers.

Thanks so much, I will write a little note to explain what the loan is for. Cheers.
