Financial Requirements 1 Visa, 3 KIds with UK Citizenship/Passports

i posed this question to a solicitor initially, who provided an answer, but I wanted to validate his answer with this forum.

Our situation:
-We are in the USA now, and have three small children.
-Husband is obtaining his UK passport, (by descent) at present.
-As he lived in the UK for most of his childhood without break, our children qualify for UK citizenship and passports (for a hefty fee of course) once  my husband's passport arrives. (We have confirmed this through three official channels).
-I am a US citizen, that will require a spousal Visa (for another hefty fee).

The question:

Under the provisions of meeting the financial requirements for my Visa alone, we easily meet the threshold for one dependent (me). As the children and hubby will have full unrestricted UK citizenship upon moving, will that number remain at 18,600 GB pounds for just supporting me alone? We were told that the children would not be added to increase the financial requirement, but I just want to confirm this prior to dropping money on registration fees and my Visa fees.

Yes, if your children have UK passports, you only need to apply for one visa and only need to meet the £18,600 financial requirement.

This is confirmed explicitly in Annex FM 1.7, the financial requirement document.

If your children weren't entitled to UK passports the income requirement would be £27,200 (if I've calculated that correctly).
