I still get homesick after living here 13 years. I found a candy shop today and bought a sample of a few bits I haven't had in awhile I had a cow tail , now and laters laffy taffy and red hots. Miss the hot summers in Ohio and the cool thunder storms. A holiday to Greece has helped make up for it though. Only 4 hours away !!

Skyline, Goetta and Kings Island are the only things I miss about Cincinnati. I keep a stock of Cincinnati chili spice packets here and everyone I've ever served it to has loved it!

O-H! My Dad used to play OSU football back in the day, so my family are all huge Buckeye fans. I'm not a sports person at ALL, but I'll watch OSU football  :)

For a NI number, go here:https://www.gov.uk/apply-national-insurance-number

For a NHS number, you simply need to register with a local GP.  You'll likely not "get" your NHS number as it's not issued as a card.  But as soon as you register with your GP, you'll be in the system.

Bite the bullet and apply for your provisional license.  It can take awhile to get your UK license, so the sooner you start the process, the better.

Should chilli taste like a Christmas wreath?

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC
