Anyone with experience getting a CSCS card?
« on: August 07, 2015, 10:44:18 PM »
I'm moving to SE London at the end of the month.  I'm a carpenter/ contractor in the states with 10+ years of experience.  Everything I've tried to research makes it sound quite complicated to gain the required certifications to work in construction over there.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks

On the whole the test is really straightforward and common sense if you have experience in the field. Have you been on the official website yet? http://www.cscs.uk.com/card-finder/

The unofficial websites can be a bit misleading, but the process is really simple and you can book the test over the phone if you need some support around that. I've found them to be quite helpful in the past (I've booked numerous tests for clients).
