A special invite....
« on: November 11, 2004, 09:25:58 PM »
I was on my way to the library at school today, when a young man stopped and asked my to sign a petition to end the war in Iraq.  Not a problem, gladly signed  and while chatting with him, he asked if I was from the US and when I said yes, he got really excited and asked me to come to an anti-war meeting sponsored by the  Socialist Worker because they would love to have an American there.  Unfortunately, I had to get home so couldn't make his meeting.  You just don't know how exciting this is for this "mature" (that's university language for really old) student.

I love my new life here!!

I  for one am glad that something nice happened at Uni... from one "mature" student to the other.   ;D
