Thank you!  :D

LOL - I'm so darn exhausted (more emotional than physical I think) I haven't given it much thought.  My 60th birthday is this coming Friday, and whenever I've been asked what I want the only answer has been, "my driver's license!".  I'll have to give it some thought....   ;)

Maybe a nice pair of fancy driving gloves to go with your new licence would be fitting. ;)

Fantastic news Becca, well done, a great achievement, now you have every right to be in "smug mode" for a few weeks.  [smiley=smug2.gif]

Fred, best of luck for Friday, [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

LOL - Thanks durhamlad!  I think I'd be a wee bit more smug if it hadn't taken me three tries to get there.  But my driving instructor pointed out that I'd passed in the second toughest test center in the country, with one of their pickiest examiners.  So perhaps I'll be in smug mode for a few days anyway.   ;)

I've no idea how true that is, but I'm sure glad I didn't know that last bit about the examiner before my test started. I was nervous enough as it was!  [smiley=anxious.gif]

A pass this morning for me as well. If I hadn't wimped out and played it safe on the parallel parking (I moved forward to straighten out) I wouldn't have had any faults. Maybe they were just being nice to me in my advanced years (58).

And the silly thing is......I put L plates on just to take the test (a requirement)....but even if I had failed I would have then taken the L plates off and driven off to the golf course to practice for tomorrows comp. I bought L plates just to take the test.......them's the rules.

I had the advantage of age.....as I was leaving the parking lot afterwards.....several cars with young girls getting ready for the test. LARGE cat like eyes staring nervously into space.....I could smell the fear. With age......if I failed.....I'd just do it another time.....my life wouldn't end.
