Very proud of you for standing your ground!  Girl, we can all relate to inlaw drama.  My inlaws are great but even I like to moan here and there.  :P

In other news, did you see Clearwater Beach was ranked #1 by Tripadvisor for best beach in the US?   ;D

Yes! Was reading about it this morning  :) So proud of my hometown and glad I got to hang out there for a day before I left for the UK. To me, no real trip to Florida is complete without a trip to Clearwater Beach (although I may be a bit biased!)

Did you go to high school there?  I went to Countryside.  :)

No but my brother went to Countryside and my sister starts there next year! Although I spent most of my years growing up in Clearwater, I lived in Hernando with my mom during my high school years (My dad still lived in Pinellas though so I still considered it home).

It's so great to have someone else from Clearwater here!! :-)

Just an update (and I need to get this off my chest!) - Apparently "no" means "Yes, absolutely" to some people.

Despite having to say no TWICE, I just found out today that the SIL was still planning on coming over to my place this Saturday. She seemed surprised that I said I wasn't going to be home. I told her she confused me with what plans she was talking about for Saturday because I had already said no. She said fine, she will cancel it then. Of course, she's said this before though!

Seriously needing to make sure I am out somewhere Saturday night now hahaha! What a nightmare this is turning out to be!

Omg!! I hope she has finally gluten the picture.

On a side note have a fab time Saturday, no matter what you do. And have lovely wedding.

Where about in Liverpool did you live?? I'm in Aigburth and gave yet to meet an American, apart from from the man telling the cashier in Tesco that he is a hired hit man

Thanks Jenny!

First I lived on Campus in Childwall at Liverpool Hope University and later I moved north, between the two Football stadiums before moving to Manchester with the fiancé :-) I always came across Americans but that's because I helped a lot with international students. My university seemed to house the majority of international students at their Aigburth lodge so surely you'll come across some on Lark Lane :-)

I'll have to have a cheeky listen next time I'm up the lane next time. Tho I don't have time to go out anymore later with a little baby.

Good to know there are Americans in the city tho.
