I was wondering if anyone has received and positive results from the UKVI International Inquiry Service escalating your case.
I applied with, in my opinion, a very straightforward application and paid priority. I sent in out on 16 Feb, and received email confirmation from Sheffield on 18 Feb. After reading on here about some others receiving their "decision made" emails, I used the free email service to enquire about my status (I know there have been past instances of this information being misleading, but decided to give it a go anyways). For the past week, I've been getting the same response that "your application has been processed and a
decision was made and it should be with you in the next few days."
I still hadn't heard anything today, so I bit the bullet and called in. The guy told me his system shows a decision was made last week, but as I have yet to hear anything, he would escalate the case to the"relevant department."
Does anyone know what this "relevant department" is and if it will be of any help? I am beginning to worry because there should be no reason to deny the visa, yet why would it be sitting in the office for so long after a decision has been made? Any insight would be much appreciated!
