I just for on too. But I think my application was more recent than yours if I remember right. 

Yup, that's a thing now.

I totally put that the cost was too high. And who knew there was a phone number/email to contact ukvi you could used to get updates in your application.

I'm glad you were honest! The cost seems extortionate (I understand to a degree and luckily can "afford" it knowing it's coming so saving a bit extra, but man can I feel the sting in my wallet afterwards!)
