Pet Relocation Companies
« on: April 23, 2016, 12:56:33 AM »
We are moving to Yorkshire and want to take our animals with us. Can anyone share their experience with any of the pet relocation companies? We think that we are prepared with regard to the veterinary requirements but are trying to make a decision about shipping the animals ourselves or paying a pet relocation company to do it. Companies that can be recommended or ones that should be avoided? Thank you.

I used PetRelocation.com and couldn't speak of them highly enough, really.  They were great at making sure I knew what I needed to do, when, and for answering all of my silly questions.  All very lovely people!  I won't lie and say it was cheap, but it was SO nice to know that someone else was taking care of at least one thing on what seemed to be an endless list during the move.

Also depends on where you are moving from. We used a private shipper near Seattle.....strange, but worked well and was a lot cheaper than the established folks.

I used Air Animal and also thought they were exceptional.  To be honest, I think most people have really positive experiences with pet shippers (at least on here).
