Blogging about Brexit and Love Actually
« on: April 23, 2016, 10:16:39 AM »
As an expat, I've been feeling a bit on the defensive lately, between Donald Trump's rise and persistent xenophobic chatter linked to leaving the EU. It came to a head this week with Boris Johnson's criticisms of President Obama. So in response, I've decided to criticise this nation's ultimate sacred cow: No, not the Queen, but the film Love Actually.

And the week before that, I wrote a blog about "the good old days" that we keep hearing about in the USA and the UK, before all the foreigners... and how they weren't really so good:

Haven't posted to UK Yankee in a while, I hope people enjoy my nonsensical steam-letting-off.

I don't post to UK Yankee every time I blog. I don't want to spam people. Generally I post something about once a week.

I wouldn't consider it spam but I can understand your concern.
