Almost time for me to start counting down to my next Taco Bell visit... going to Sheffield for New Year!

I was in Newcastle yesterday and I thought, just maybe... but I checked their website and there isn't one in Newcastle.  If they ever branch out to Glasgow, I am in serious trouble.... that photo of the 'cheesy bacon fries burrito' almost made me cry.  :\\\'(
I'm going home a Tuesday... already told my parents a stop at Taco Bell was needed lol

There is a Taco Bell in Basildon, not too far from me, i see a road trip in my near future. Normally I just make my own tacos etc, Mexican food is one of my faves. I even made fish tacos for the wife a couple of weeks ago and she loved them.

I used to eat at Bojangles when i lived in SC, would stop in for a 2 piece and a biscuit with a side of rice and a sweet tea. I miss that chain, good food.

I love Bojangles as well!  I'd stop there on the way to school.

I had to chime in on this most glorious of subjects!

I went home to visit friends and family over New Year, and when my mom picked me up, I told her I was starving and needed to stop to get something to eat. There was a McD on the other side of the parking lot of the train station and I said, "let's just stop there unless there magically happens to be a Taco Bell on the other side." AND THERE WAS!!! It was glorious! I'm lucky because my DH loooooves Taco Bell too. Totally acknowledges it has nothing to do with Mexican food (which he also loves).

I can't believe there are 10 in the UK and still NONE in Birmingham/Coventry! I did see there is one in Nottingham now, so I may need to take a trip!

We always stop when we go on vacay if we can. His dad lives up near Manchester so we've been there, and we'll stop at the one that's sort of on the way to the Eurotunnel terminal on our way to France in April. I can't wait!!

From what I've seen, they're all further up north and I'm down south. It's literally the worst as I can't convince my husband a day trip to Taco Bell is worth it haha (and, what if we turn up and the menu is totally different with no Baja blast?!?)

There's one in Southampton I know, for sure. I don't know how far that is from you? You can check their menu online. They don't have everything that the US ones have (no enchiritos, for example) and they do their own specials, but I was happy with a burrito supreme and a crunchwrap! I love their red sauce!

I have no idea what a Baka blast is, but I have been to one of the Sheffield Taco Bells 3 or 4 times, and to the one in Manchester Arndale Centre once, and there was nothing on the menu with that name.

They definitely DON'T have the Baja Blast...that's the Mountain Dew flavor, right?

How do they announce new locations?  Where should I watch and hope?  I'm in southwest Wales (we used to be very near Southampton, but that Taco Bell opened right after we moved away :( ).

Dang. Now there's 17 Taco Bells here. Whoo! Still none closer than Nottingham....
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.
