How do they announce new locations?  Where should I watch and hope?  I'm in southwest Wales (we used to be very near Southampton, but that Taco Bell opened right after we moved away :( ).
Check and re-check their website. Although I only found out about the Glasgow store because my friend passed by the site and saw the planning notice in the window,  which he photographed and messaged me. It's going to be in Sauchiehall Street,  where Bradfords Bakery was, for anyone interested!

Just got back from Manchester Arndale and had a glorious time eating 3 tacos lol, I sure do miss Iced Tea tho.

something about the way they limit the sauce packets here tho do my head in!! Why should I have to beg for a few extra packets or ketchup or taco sauce or whatever it is I may feel would make my dining experience better? Does anyone else find this completely strange? I had to tell someone at McDonald's that I would pay for an extra packet of ketchup after ordering £30 of food for all of us!!

At the Sheffield Taco Bell (Devonshire St), the sauce packets are next to the drinks machine, so you can just grab as many as you want.

That happened to me at a McDonald's (yeah, I was obviously weak and devoid of sense) once. I was given two packets of ketchup for four people. I asked for two more and I simply got, "No! Absolutely not!" I offered to pay for them and they simply refused. It was indeed baffling. I eventually found the manager and told him I would pay for them and he made a huge deal about it despite me paying one pound for 2 packets. They were packets not the little containers. I've never been to a McDonald's since. It's truly baffling!

Dang. Now there's 17 Taco Bells here. Whoo! Still none closer than Nottingham....

There's one in Woking now.  Sadly not that close to Wokingham.  No point going while I'm dairy free though.   ::)

That's a bit much :(.

I don't go to McDonalds much, but I've noticed that some of their restaurants now have self-service sauce pumps (usually with ketchup and BBQ sauces), so you can take as much or as little as you need.

Same in Nottingham and whichever one I went to in Sheffield. (might have been the same as Albatross)
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

It's totally worth it! I went to the Nottingham one and they didn't have the weird spice on the chips this time. It was so CLOSE to feeling like the US.

We should do a meet up there soon.

Come get me!  :P

Ahhhh!  It's so frustrating hearing about all these Taco Bells opening up on that side of GB.  There's even one less than an hour from where I used to live, now.  But now that one is a 5-hour drive.  I need to check locations again.  See if anything's near me.
