Expack?
« on: May 20, 2016, 01:50:51 PM »
Has anybody heard of/had experience with/etc. this company before?

https://www.facebook.com/myexpack/timeline

Saw it on Reddit and it piqued my curiosity! Wondering if anybody has tried and has pros/cons?

I hadn't seen it before. I went to their website and it looks to me as if it's for French and Puerto Rican expats in the US rather than for US expats in other countries.  ???

Ah! You're right! I saw it on Reddit and it seemed like they pretty much do them for anywhere but it looks like when you actually go to the "What's Inside" it says "all 50 states" so I think you're right!

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed. Then looked to see which countries the goodies came from and Fr and PR were the only choices!

hahaha if I'm honest, that's what drew me to assume it was for US expats abroad (along with where I saw the post). I know Walkers are effectively the same, but some of the flavours are ones you can't get over here lol. I browsed the page but thought that it was just french and polish people that had started the company originally. I quite liked the idea of getting surprise goodies from the US monthly! I already get Loot Crate for me/my husband and my dog so I definitely enjoy those little packages! hah

What I would give for some Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles or Smartfood White Cheddar popcorn.

I found the Smartfood in Derby a few months ago, but haven't seen it since then...
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Friend of mine came to visit and she was having a proper meltdown in the shops saying "why can't I find any sour cream and onion chips!!" I was like...you mean sour cream and chive crisps? We ended up with the green Pringles in the end LOL

I can't even pretend it's not one of my favourite things to receive in the post...lol (but to be fair, I usually just receive junk/Bills)
