Oh, you can easily get automatic cars over here now, they aren't all that rare. I think they're a bit more expensive though? If you haven't learned to drive stick yet, it'll be a boon to you. You won't be fighting your US standard driving muscle memory all the time. haha.

The thing to remember is if you take your driving test in an automatic car you will only be licensed to drive an automatic car. You'd have to take the test again in a standard to be licensed to drive those.

That's the other thing - I have only driven automatic cars. Potentially will have to learn to drive a stick over there! Looks a little complicated.
