While sometimes scary, sometimes complicated the adventure of moving to Glasgow is just about finished. In no particular order we have done the following:
- Sold our US house (pending closing)
- Sold our cars
- Sold / gave away most of our belongings (Goodwill, Yard Sales, Family, Trash)
- Shipped a 100 cu ft container to UK (highly recommend UPakWeShip) you can get a lot of crap in one of their boxes and they are fabulous to work with
- Found a temporary Flat in West End that will allow our dogs!! (Highly recommend (Citybased Business / Citybased Apartments) Again fantastic to work with especially Andrew Barr
- Opened checking and saving account - went with HSBC and was able to open in US...there are minimum requirements but if you can it makes things very easy
- Have arrangements for Dogs to move (Highly recommend Pet Relocation) Making it so easy
- Golf Clubs to be shipped! (Okay other than Dogs only thing that matters)
- Love Glasgow so far and cannot wait to discover the city / country...
