can i drive in the states?

So we are going back to the states for a visit. My driver license has expired but I do plan on renewing it while in town. but before i do...is it legal for me to drive with my UK License?

Are you going to Texas? (Texas is listed below your profile pic, so it's an educated guess.) If so, yes, you can. More info here:

If not Texas, you'll have to look up the law in whichever state(s) you're going to.
