Hi just out of interest is a anyone in the Yankee forum Native American?
My husband is Native American and I seriously can't find anyone living in the UK with strong Native ancestry.
It seems to me he's rarer than an albino Panda over here lol.
If anyone knows someone who is or are themselves I would love them to get in touch   ;D

My grandmother was born very close to the Mexican border.  She might have had some White Mountain Apache blood in her but we've never found out for certain.  In her time, it was not OK to admit that, or even to admit Mexican heritage, so she claimed to be Spanish of all things.

So, that's a no for me.  We also have a family story about how we are Irish, based upon my grandfather bending the truth. It's not true either.

I know this is really old, but stumbled upon it and I had this same question!  I am half.  Daddy was half Picuris Pueblo and half Navajo.
