Just curious, if we were to fly to the UK just to pick up the BRP and fly back, how much time do we have until we need to move?  Ideally we would like to spend Christmas with family in the US and move in January.  Not sure if there is any time constraint after picking up the BRP.

You could do that without any problem. While you are there though, get names on bills so that you have evidence of joint address starting as soon as possible.

Everyone cross your fingers that I get my decision made email tomorrow.  I'll be day 90 tomorrow since documents receive and I think 58 since my confirmation email. Last July to go!

Have you looked at your UPS tracking to see if maybe they just didn't send the email?  Definitely be ready to push the book button for your flights- I don't think you'll have long to travel once your package is in hand.

Hi everyone,

My hubby's MP emailed us this morning to let us know that my visa was issued on the 24th of Oct! You guys, I got it!!!!! I can't even describe the emotion we felt. It's one less day to agonize, as our package is meant to arrive tomorrow afternoon. Thank you God, my family and all my friends which include all of you guys. Truly the support has meant so much.

Woohoo Mev!!!! Outstanding. Finally, your MP came back to provide some fantastic news.  You can start planning a little bit at least now.  So happy for you mate.  After 18 months of so many ups and downs, I know it will all be up all the way now and the rest of this can all be behind you.

Have you looked at your UPS tracking to see if maybe they just didn't send the email?  Definitely be ready to push the book button for your flights- I don't think you'll have long to travel once your package is in hand.

AirAdele, I can't believe they're still stuffing around with yours. Really doesn't give you much time at all to organise travel.  So frustrated for you!  Hopefully in the next 2hrs. UK is only 4hrs behind at the moment before the clocks change so we have an extra hour. Crossing fingers.

Thank you Phu! My documents were just delivered back and it looks like I have until the 23rd of November to get there. Are there any issues with arriving on the "until validity" date guys?

Nope.

Only risk would be if your flight didn't go for some reason or a delay.  Or we delayed a flight by a couple of days last year because of a vomiting bug.  But those are all "what ifs".

I got nothing today, and the lawyer emailed to tell me she got nothing.  It is too much now, i could still handle it when others were of the same month but now that all of July is gone except me ( and I'm at the beginning ) it's too much.  We're at day 90 and 58 since confirmation email.  I don't feel happy when I see August September October people getting theres.  I just feel bitter.  I think I'm going to have to leave this site till I hear.  It's just all too much.  It's just sitting there and I can't do a thing.
Well at least one thing is good.  Because they took so long I only get to go over for a week then have to come back and wait to start my life with my husband.  So I don't have to worry about the short time I'll get to prep, because it's only a visit.

It really does suck, no doubt about that.
Really hope Monday is your day.

Big hugs!  A break sounds wise.  But do let us know the good news!

Hello all, I have a question for those who have received your passports back. I had my decision made email on Saturday and I had an email about it being shipped, but the ups tracking number hasn't updated at all yet! How long did it take for you to see when your passport would arrive? I'm so anxious about it, and I would love the peace of mind knowing I'll get the decision in a few days. Thank you 😊
