Sorry for the delay in replying with our final outcome. Been a bit of a crazy couple of weeks. Glad to see many of those who were still waiting have had a good outcome and good luck to everyone else.

Sooo how long is the delay during Christmas normally? My husband heads back to the UK today (I had hoped to join him) but when I send an email to the help center I am told that "it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance". I know it takes longer around Christmas... But does anyone have an estimate?

I would imagine you'll have a decision by the end of next week (worst case hopefully).

I would say 99% of the UK workforce was off between December 22nd and today.  I imagine this will continue to be a quiet week and we'll see things moving again next week.
