How are people trying to track it once it has arrived?

When I submitted the appendix requested to the email they asked I use, there was an auto response saying to not contact them until 12 weeks had passed with no word.  I can copy and paste if you like but the gist was "don't call us, we'll call you."  So I'm a little nervous to ask for a status update, the text saying to not contact them asking for updates was bold, italic, and red in the email.  12 weeks from when they received all parts of my application will be February 4 (they did ask for the appendix on a Saturday although I don't assume they work all Saturdays).
Spouse Visa:

Some people try tracking the return parcel (since you should have a copy of the tracking number) just in case a secondary email is never sent. Of course that's a long shot but i guess when there's nothing more you can do you just try everything.
In the email they sent confirming they'd received my application it said that they aim to complete settlement visas within 12 weeks and that any status enquiries can be made to the international enquiry service. I also worry about trying to contact them and am trying to give it more time but it's really frustrating not knowing anything.

Oh, I see.  I went to UPS and looked up the tracking number, and then sent email alerts.  I thought maybe you guys had found some way to check status with the application itself :(

I just did the email enquiry thing with my gwf number and it did no updates. I just left it. Trust me I understand your feelings completely. I'm thinking a couple more weeks perhaps. [equote author=rdiaz115 link=topic=88852.msg1157647#msg1157647 date=1484093625]
Yes, I have actually. But nothing. Was going to give it another week before I tried to email the enquiry service centre. I mean I know it's a long shot but I'd feel some relief in at least knowing it's being reviewed.
Have you tried contacting them yet?

Hey all. New here but have been reading some of the latest posts. I am anxiously awaiting news. I am like some others here... applying for priority spouse visa (however this is my second attempt). Looks like most priority have been getting news in about 15 business days. Here's my timeline:

Docs Shipped: Dec 19th
Docs arrived in Sheffield: Dec 21st
Confirmation Email: Dec 22nd
Decision Email: waiting.

Hopefully I will hear something tomorrow... I would really like to be with my husband as we've almost been married 5 months now.

Wishing you all the best as well. This waiting thing has been a true test of character!

My husband asked me to use the status enquiry form this week, so I did, and the response (that said no updates) also said that they aim to have 95% of applications processed within 12 weeks from the biometric date, and 100% within 24 weeks.  I'd never heard anything beyond 12 weeks and that itself is a long time to not get to see him!  Does it ever really take that long?  I can't believe it could take until May for us.

This summer the May/June applicants received their decisions in Oct/Nov.  The longest I've seen since being a part of the forum.  So 5-ish months.

Non priority marriage visa
Documents received confirmation email: December 18the
Decision made email: waiting

After reading blogs I sometimes wish I did priority but no need for "should haves". Just trying not to go crazy during this wait. I just feel lost, stuck in between, and on the edge of my seat every day. They said they try to have them done in 12 weeks, in my received email, which would be the middle of March(13th). Our fault but we have our wedding planned for March 10th. I just try to tell myself calm down you will get back to your Mr. Perfect when time permits  :)

Have you given notice yet?

Unfortunately with fiancĂ© visa's it's virtually impossible to plan as UKVI has WAY too much of an influence in EVERYTHING.  They do a great job of sucking the romance out of a wedding, don't they?

Hopefully your visa is approved soon.  :)

Congrats!

Based on my tracking info, it seems like their pick up is at around 5 UK time, so hopefully you'll see movement today!

Shipping also seems to be faster than I expected. I only got my confirmation yesterday and it's supposed to be delivered today.

I am currently very nervously waiting for UPS. Fingers crossed it's all right for mine and everyone else's!

That's great.  One less thing to worry about - and one less thing to wait for!
