Spouse visa document number
« on: November 07, 2016, 09:56:44 PM »
My wife finally decided to come to the UK on her spouse visa to give it a go of living with me, her husband, in the UK.

However, can you please answer this query.  The online checkin with Lufthansa asks her to supply her spouse visa "document number."

There is a number in red at the top.  However, underneath it is the notation, on another line,  "number of entries MULT number 361862."

This number is different from the number at the top in red.

Which is the correct visa "document number" please?

If there is any doubt about this, would it be better for her to take the visa with her to the airport when she flies and then the officials there can give her the right visa number?

Congratulations Dave! I am so glad she has reconsidered!  :)

That is an airline requirement so you should either have her call and ask them which number they require (It'll either be the red number at the top or the long number at the bottom) or you could try entering the number and see which one the system  accepts.

Either way, she will have to have her visa with her when she travels as a- It is stuck in her passport and b- She will need it to enter the UK.
