British Passport for Baby - What to Submit?
« on: November 14, 2016, 11:27:57 PM »
Hi all,

I would like to apply for British citizenship for my baby, who was born this August in the UK.  His father and I are married - he first arrived in the UK in October 2010 to work and just received his permanent residency card last month.

Can anyone please tell me what documentation I need to submit with the baby's passport application to prove that he is entitled to British citizenship?  Should I just include everything that we sent to receive my husband's PR card (5 years worth of wage slips P60s, P45s, bank statements, etc) or would sending in his PR card be proof enough that he has already satisfied this requirement?

Thank you.
