To be fair...I'd consider tipping if I got free beer from my hairdresser lol (I might even tip if she cleaned up the floor of my hair when she was done cutting it!)

I tip my barber.

To be honest I don't mind. I go in to my barbers, treated to several bottles of beer, watch some of the football while I get my haircut and they do a fantastic job. £12 so I just round up to £15, easy. Pays for the beers

Man, that sounds great.   I'd love to get a beer at my hairdressers!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
Work permit (2007) to British Citizen (2014)
You're stuck with me!

In the days when I used to color my hair, my hairdresser would give me a glass (or two) of sparkling wine while I waited for the color to set. It was a nice treat while my three were at nursery and school but yes, I was that tipsy Mum at the school gates. It used to cost £26 and I'd pay £30. She saw me every eight weeks then...now I'm 90% white-haired so I'm sure I won't get any sparkling wine now :(

Now a-days you only get that if you go to a super posh salon.
