The Who are my partner's favourite band!

The sticker on the boiler that you perhaps can't see is Half Man Half Biscuit.  They featured heavily in this morning's Scouse & Scally playlist on my iPod, along with Icicle Works, Pele, Amsterdam, The Beatles, Shack and Jegsy Dodd & The Sons of Harry Cross.

I could not, in fact, make out that third sticker....

The Who has always been my favourite band as well.

When my girl was small, we were in the playground and I struck up a conversation with one of the other dads.  It ended up that he was Pets Townsend 's recording engineer!  He invited me to stop by Pete's studio in Richmond and said he'd show me some broken guitars.  I never actually went because I haven't listened to the stuff he's made lately and didn't want it to be awkward.

I also slept in a waterbed in Roger Daltrey's caravan in a field in Sussex.  It was formerly owned by RD and still had mirrors on the ceiling.  I'll try to find pictures of that.

This was a wonderful experience, my son wanted to be a tiger animal keeper so when the rescue organization came to Orlando I booked the animal encounter.

Booked in to an Aerial Hoops beginners class on Monday. If I enjoy it, I will probably start doing it regularly, so maybe more new/interesting pictures to add to this thread in addition to the pole fitness photos! haha

Not the most amazing thing I know, but I made my top (sorry it's a bit revealing!) for my nieces 18th fancy dress party! I went as a mermaid :) my SIL sewed the netting across the bottom for me and I glue gunned the beads and flowers and shells. Can't really tell but I also used glitter glue to give some of the shells some shimmer. I now own a hot glue gun and it's waayyyyy too fun to use it so I might try to improve upon my craft and costume making skills :)  like I said, it's not the most amazing piece but I was proud that the shells held on through a night of drinking!!

I had a wig and  everything!

In fairness, I have to admit...I cheated and the tail is a pair of "mermaid scale" leggings because I know I would use them again.

haha definitely! There were some skirts and stuff that I found (most of which I didn't like the look of) and I couldn't justify spending too much money for something I wouldn't get a lot of use out of. Those leggings will definitely get fair amounts of use though so I was fine with it!  I was also saving all my creative efforts for the top so minimising all the work elsewhere! hahaha (I was very lastminute.com as well)
