NTL processing times

Sent in all my docs and an NTL application for a biometric card about 10 days ago. Tracking says the stuff had been received next morning. No other notification yet. I figure this will no doubt take some time but any ideas how long?

It'll take a couple of months to be processed.  You should see payment be taken and receive your biometrics letter in the next week or two.

Hey BKUpris, I sent away my paperwork at exactly the same time as you for exactly the same thing.  I've bought plane tickets back to the States on May 8th.  KFDancer promised me at the time that I'd have my passport back by then. 

KFDancer, please confirm I didn't screw up....I'm horrible with dates....

Standard processing time is 8 weeks.  You'll be fine.

Man, the wierdest thing just happened to me.  Right after posting this, I checked my mail and there was the confirmation!  Literally 30 seconds later.  I wonder if UKVI are watching me?
