Ouch.  I hope you don't have to go there to pick it up as well.  That would be 12 hours on the train

The BRP will be delivered to you.

Are you 100% sure that you've selected the right thing on the post office website?   Home Office Biometric Enrolment?  I don't doubt that locations become few and far between in Scotland - I'm just hoping for your sake you are looking at the wrong thing!   :)

Yeah, I live in the West Highlands. Oban post office doesn't do it. Neither does Fort William. Even tried Dumbarton but no go. The joys of living in the sticks.

That really sucks.  I was hoping you were looking at the wrong thing!

I visited the west highlands (well, drove through) this past summer.  Definitely God's country up there!  And I thought Colorado was beautiful....   ;)

Indeed, a lovely part of the world to live in. Can be a bit wet at times though ;)

Somehow, I managed to time things perfectly and was there for the 2016 week of summer - sunny and warm.  I even had to go to shopping and buy appropriate clothes for me and my daughter because we were sweating to death!

There I go, off in the weeds.  Sorry!  It was just really beautiful.  I look forward to going many more times in the future.  :)

If you are in the Oban area give me a shout. I'm gonna just get the early train tomorrow and have a day in Glasgow. Won't be driving so may have to visit a couple of my favourite pubs in the city centre ;)

I really liked Oban as well.  Who needs a post office when you can watch Dolphins?   When I was there, we ate at an American restaurant on the seafront.  They tried hard!  Are they still there?

Anyway,  that's the biometrics sorted. So I take it we wait a few weeks and we get our cards posted to us?

My payment (credit card) has cleared.

I can't help but notice that they charged your credit card and not mine.  I hope that's not significant.
