You file a US income tax return & an FBAR. In the UK you will have registered for self-assessment at some stage last year and paid any tax you calculate you owe to HMRC by 31 December 2016, so that you have a foreign tax credit to claim on your 2016 US return.

The UK return for 2016-17 will need to be filed by 31 January 2018.

The tax year ends on 5 April. The return for 2016-17 is due to be filed by 31 January 2018.

I'm in the same situation, arrived in the U.K. last May. I have US pensions and income from US investments and retirement accounts. The UK taxes worldwide income. I plan on filing my UK 2016/2017 self assessment before the end of 2017 so that I will know in detail the U.K. tax credits I can apply to my US 2017 tax return.
Dual USC/UKC living in the UK since May 2016

As far as I can see from their website they are not supervised in the UK and do not prepare UK returns. I am not sure about the "good rep in the US"; because most of their staff are seasonal and unqualified.

US Government pensions will only be taxable in the US

US SS payments will only be taxable in the UK

US defined benefit pensions and defined contribution account withdrawals will be taxable in both the US and the UK. You will file a UK self assessment and enter your US pensions and pay UK tax on them. Then you will file an US return and claim a credit for the UK tax paid and also any US tax withheld by your US retirement account administrator.
