I wonder if it could be tuned differently so it warns of uniquely British threats?  Perhaps it could warn you of snarky comments from the neighbours, or squawk when someone is unhappy with your queueing behaviour.

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure I'd really care enough to want to know!

But....well, we could try to re-wire it for alerting on the English politicians, couldn't we?  ;D  If we set it for USA equivalents I'd never get any sleep at all with it wailing....
