At this rate I'll be a nervous wreck by the time it's all done and dusted  ::)

You're in good company here on UK Yankee. Visas are super stressful and most of us can relate to your situation.

Just look forward to the feeling of relief when you get your approval and move over.  ;D

I'm sorry if I've caused any offence by posting here, but if you care to look above you'll see I was encouraged to do so... :(

No offence caused at all, and we're completely happy to help :).

It's just that you posted the topic in the technical help section (for people having technical problems with the website) and not the visa/immigration help section.

So, the above post was just a suggestion that the moderators move the topic to the Visas and Immigration section of the website, so it's in the correct place.

Please don't worry Janette, it's not a big deal, at all.  If Leah (moderator) wants to move it, she will.  :) You've done nothing to cause offence.  :)

I'm sorry Janette... I didn't mean to make you feel bad!  :(

I only suggested it because it seemed logical to keep all the visa discussions in the same place.

I'm ok just really stressed and under pressure to submit the online form with a cut off date June 13.
I had no idea my post was appearing in the wrong section  :( I'm very new to this site , just anxious that I don't make any silly mistakes and I've had such brilliant guidance on here.
I'll be ok once I get this form sent.

I need some advice regarding terminology of finances. Do I fill the amounts out in dollars or do I have to convert into British pounds?

I answered in your other thread but to me it looks like you answer in pounds because the pension income section already has the pound sign in the box.

UKVI use the Onada.com closing spot rate on the day you submit your online application.

I'm filling in the financial part of appendix 2...section E pensions, and I'm not sure about 3.70....because although I've received state retirement pension from the UK since 2008 my husband didn't start receiving Social security until January this year and I didn't receive my social security till that date either, so I'm cautious about answering 3.70.and worrying that it will prevent this entire application  :(

Just a very brief question as I'm ready to tackle the sending of the online form today and have appendix 2 filled in and ready to send with supporting documents.
Just wondered do you think it advisable for my husband to write a cover letter in support of his application?
I'm very anxious not to leave anything out, as it would be a very expensive mistake to make  :o

The sponsor letter is definitely needed but usually the applicant would only write a letter if there is something which needs additional explanation such as a criminal conviction. However, if you feel more comfortable having him write one, that's fine too.  :)
