It was an urban myth, a rumor, please forget I mentioned it!  :)

I'll try! But it seemed to be seconded, so I tried to Google -- and it seems like the button is not related! I hope!!! **dies of anxiety**

How did you send your application? If it was by a tracked method and it has been signed for, you know that they do have it.  :)

Yeh, its tracked and we have the email from Sheffield confirming receipt, its just worrying that they now can't find the application on their system :/

Then they have it.  :) Please try to stop worrying. The call center will have been wrong as you say.

Don't be sorry! I confirmed that 7. Request Refund is not the IHS refund in another way -- straight from the horse's mouth:

https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/usa/pdf/Requesting-a-Refund.pdf

To request a refund of your Visa Fee you should:
1. Sign into your Visa4UK account using your email address and password;
2. Select the option ‘View Appointment’ for your application;
3. Select the option ‘Cancel Appointment’;
4. Select ‘Yes’ in the following confirmation dialogue box;
5. Select the option ‘View Payment’ for your application;
6. Scroll down to ‘7. Request Refund’ and select the option ‘Request Refund’;
7. Explain your reason(s) for requesting a refund in the area provided and then select the option
‘Apply for refund’.
Your request will be sent to us and we will aim to process your refund request within 10 working days.
The funds should appear in your account 3 to 10 days after your refund has been processed

So in case anyone, like me, is tempted to torture themselves and see if "request refund" is in their online account, rest assured it is irrelevant. :)

I just checked my UPS tracking to make sure there are no delays from KY to FL since we have been having crazy storms. It was just scanned in in Orlando, 35 minutes away from me. I really wish I wouldn't have checked, now all I want to do is drive over there and bang on the door until they let me check my passport.

FYI if you drive by Cocoa tomorrow and see a crazy-eyed girl swinging on the front porch twitching a bit, it's just me, waiting for the UPS truck that doesn't ever show up until about 4pm!!!

PS I hope all of y'all that are waiting are in better shape then me, and to those still waiting. I feel you, hope you receive your email soon, but let me tell you the three days of waiting on the shipping is much worse. :)

Haha well hopefully yours will come directly to you and not sitting overnight in the warehouse.

I'm headed to Blackheath Standard ( Greenwhich ) I think there are a few of us in the area, I'm thinking of doing a pub night and we can all meet up if you're in the area!

Good luck on the waiting :)

The wife and I want to move to Greenwich someday. I'm in for a pub trip! I love the pub right at the entrance of the park...Not horrible prices compared to the Admiral /Lord Nelson.

Very cool! I'll be wayyy far away in Glasgow so we'd be more likely to meet here! ;) Although not that likely as I have 3 kids on my own right now driving me nuts. I do most of my drinking in front of Netflix at 8:30 pm!

Lots of Florida people!
I lived in Orlando for like 10 years. I moved back to Citrus County about 2 years ago, and it was meant to be temporary but then I met my husband and it didn't make sense to go move again.

I'm going to Aberdeen. I hate the sun but I'm gonna miss the humid heat.

It's so beautiful over there. We are about a 15 min walk through the park to get there. And actually, my husband works in canary wharf so when it's nice out, like days like today, he takes the DLR to Greenwich and then walks through the park. We are definitely game for a meet up!

We do a lot of that too. We have been hooked on Amazon Prime watching The Americas. Which is quite hard when you're in a long distance relationship. We've been together for 2+ years and are only on season 2 I think. :)
